The Miami-Shelby Chapter of the

Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of

Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America

The "Melody Men Chorus" consists of over 60 men from all walks of life who share a common love for singing barbershop style harmony. Our Music Director is Mr. Richard Baker, who is assisted by assistant directors Bob Moore and Brian Phillips. Our Chapter's President is Mr. Bob Moore . The Miami-Shelby Chapter of The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, Inc. has an annual show in May at Troy High School.

The Melody Men rehearse every Tuesday evening from 7:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the Greene Street Methodist Church located at the corner of Greene & Caldwell Streets in Piqua, Ohio. Just take the Rt 36 exit off of I-75, and proceed into Piqua. You will be on Ash Street. While Rt 36 will eventually turn onto another street, you should keep going into town on Ash until you come to Caldwell. Then, just turn right to the next corner, and follow the sounds of fellowship and song to the church basement, where you'll find the Melody Men ready to welcome you! Before and after chorus rehearsal time, you will find groups of men singing in small groups called VLQ's (very large quartets) or in the more traditional groups of four. Even if you're not sure whether you're a tenor, lead, baritone, or bass, come join us and find out.

Join Us Tuesday Evening! But remember!
We've moved to the Greene Street Methodist Church,
at 415 W. Greene St at Caldwell St in Piqua, Ohio.

See you soon? We hope so!
